Episode 89 of 10 Minutes of MeI talk a little bit about renting property, what to do (and not do) when your dog eats a pen on the carpet, and how awesome of a cleaner I am. Mostly, however, I explore the idea of giving up some parts of yourself when you become a parent. For example, spending entire nights out drinking is out of the question. Just packing up and taking off does not happen anymore. I mean, shit, it's hard to find the time to shave my damn legs! Also, though, you have to now consider the example you set for your child and how your actions and appearance might reflect and affect them. Basically, it all boils down to one question: Should I re-cut my mo-hawk, or is it improper now that I have a child?Link to the show: 10min.libsyn.com/the-other-m-word-wait-what-

Do you want Trex to be exited about mo-hawks? Or do you want him to discover them on his own? Kids (young kids anyway) seem excited about what their parents and friends are excited about. I plan on starting to game as soon as TBD (my soon to be son) has a vocabulary. Warp him into a gamer early on. So I say rock the hawk.

See, that's how I feel and I'd have one now if I wasn't half assing it for a job. But on the gaming thing, oddly enough, I have no intention of making the Trex into a gamer. I know a lot of parents who kind of go that route but shit, I grew up a jock. I intend on having sports and music and gaming and whatever else until he's old enough to pick for himself.
